Penta HT Optics is founded by Rien de Schipper (formerly Philips High Tech Plastics Optics) at the time of the sale of the manufacturing activities of Philips HTP to Triumph PPC Ltd. In the meantime, Penta HT Optics' majority of shares is also acquired by TPPC.
Penta HT Optics forms the bridge between European need for optics and Chinese manufacturing. We have and local design capabilities and precision tool making and an Asia Pacific manufacturing base for precision molded parts, plastic aspheric lenses and high-precision opto-mechanical assemblies.
Key focus areas include miniature camera lenses for mobile-phone, medical and automotive applications, printer sensor optics, optical storage, solar energy conversion and high power LED lens solutions.
